As I’ve said before, I am always amazed at the love and dedication this community has for St. Michael Catholic School (StMCS). For many years, StMCS was the only school in town, and today, we are experiencing record enrollment and waiting lists for nearly every grade!
The universal mission of the Church is to make disciples. Our Catholic school is one of the most important ways we do this—and it’s a ministry we’re called to support whether we have students there or not. To that end, I am asking everyone to pray daily for our school, families, teachers, and staff. Please pray that StMCS would be a place where many young people grow in faith and wisdom, that we have the resources to meet our financial needs and compensate our dedicated teachers and staff, and that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide our discernment about the future of our school. God willing, one day St. Michael will again be home to a faithfully Catholic, preK-12 school—three sections per grade and still growing.
St. Michael Catholic School is fundamentally a work of our Heavenly Father, an instrument that God uses and works through in order to bring many people, young and old, closer to Himself. God is ultimately in charge of our school; as long as we keep our eyes fixed on Him, we will never be led astray.
