Last weekend, Father Brian Park led the parish's first-ever Awakening Retreat at Dunrovin Retreat Center near Stillwater.
The retreat had been postponed due to a COVID outbreak at Christ the King Retreat Center earlier in the fall; although the schedule change meant some people were no longer able to attend, new people joined the retreat in the intervening weeks.
Tuesday evening after Mass, Father hosted the first of seven followup sessions focused on the life of prayer and discipleship.
"It was a phenomenal weekend," he said. "The Holy Spirit was definitely moving among those who attended the retreat, and 90 percent came back on Tuesday night."
Father Park is excited to see the fruits of the retreat in the lives of families and the parish. The next Awakening Retreat is scheduled for February 25-27, witth registration opening later this fall. We hope to see many of you there!
