The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) of St. Michael is inviting new members! All women of the parish are invited to take a look at the CCW and consider sharing their time, talent and treasure with other Catholic women who feel called to serve the church and community. The annual Installation of New Members will be Tuesday, June 21, immediately following the 6:30 PM Mass. They will begin in the church, then meet briefly in the gathering space and enjoy hospitality.
CCW provides many charitable services to the parish throughout the year, hosting a spring luncheon and an annual bake sale, making and distributing quilts for the homeless, distributing Christmas baskets to the parish homebound, donating to those locally in need, sponsoring educational opportunities, and various other events. In addition, each year we support the Appalachian Christmas project by gathering donations, such as clothing, school, baby, kitchen, and bath supplies, as well as many toys and sending them to Kentucky.
