Lent & Easter at St. Michael

- Stations of the cross
  
  Recall His Passion
  
  Throughout Lent, we pray the Stations of the Cross on Friday evenings at 7:00 PM (after our Soup Suppers; see below) and on Tuesdays at 11:00 AM. Booklets will be provided.
  Living Stations of the Cross will be presented at 8:00 PM on Palm Sunday, April 13, and Good Friday, April 18, in the church. It's a beautiful tradition and a powerful way to recall Jesus' passion. Join us!
- LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS
  
  Keep It Simple
  
  We have Lenten Soup Suppers scheduled for Fridays during Lent, 5:30-6:45 PM, in the social hall, with simple meals of meatless soups, bread, and more served by parish ministry groups. The schedule is as follows:

  Friday, March 28: Society of St. Vincent de Paul
- Annual Lenten Fish Fry
  
  Eat and Be Satisfied
  
  On Friday, April 11, the Knights of Columbus will host our annual Lenten Fish Fry, 5:00-7:00 PM in the social hall. Enjoy all-you-can-eat fish, tots, coleslaw, baked beans, mac-and-cheese, Hawaiian buns, cookie, and applesauce, with lemonade, water, and coffee to drink.
  The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for children 4 and up. $70 family max; children 3 and under are free. Join us!

  Holy Thursday, April 17: Mass at 7:00 PM (no morning Mass or Confessions); Adoration until midnight with Night Prayer together at 9:00 PM
  Good Friday, April 18: Service at 3:00 PM (no morning Mass or Confessions)
  
  Holy Saturday, April 19: Easter Vigil Mass at 8:30 PM (no morning Mass; no morning or afternoon Confessions; no 5:00 PM Mass)
  
  Easter Sunday, April 20: Masses at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM (separate/overflow Mass in the social hall at 9:00 AM), and 11:00 AM (no evening Mass)
- Lenten Individual Penance Service
  
  Seek His Mercy
  
  Our Lenten Individual Penance Service is Wednesday, April 9, beginning at 7:00 PM. We will have multiple priests on hand to hear confessions, but it is always a busy night. Remember, we have confession times scheduled every day; check out the regular schedule online.
- DIVINE MERCY NOVENA and Celebration
  
  Trust In His Promise
  
  Our Lord said, "I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in my mercy" (Diary of St. Faustina, 687) Join us in praying the Divine Mercy Novena, which begins Good Friday, April 18:
  Instructions on how to pray the novena, as well as a wealth of information about the Divine Mercy Image and more can be found on the Marian Fathers Divine Mercy website.
  Our church also has pamphlets available in the kiosk in the gathering space.
  The Relevant Radio app also has the Chaplet under Pray / Audio Prayers, and it is prayed daily at 3:00 PM on the radio at 1330 AM.
  Everyone is invited to celebrate the Feast of His Divine Mercy on Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 PM at St. Michael Church. We will sing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in front of the Blessed Sacrament, venerate the Divine Mercy image, and celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation before concluding with Benediction. A dessert reception will follow.
