Audition to Be a Paid Cantor at Mass!

St. Michael Catholic Church is continuing to enhance its liturgical music ministry by hiring cantors for the 5:00 PM Saturday and 9:00 AM Sunday Masses. This is a great opportunity to share your vocal gifts with the church, enhance the worship experience of our parishioners, and be compensated for your musical training and experience.

Auditions are required, including singing a preselected psalm and hymn for three interviewers. Excellent pitch is required; prior musical training and performance experience is strongly preferred. Cantors will be expected to prepare in advance and practice half an hour before each Mass for which they are scheduled to sing. Pay and Mass frequency are negotiable.
