In case you missed it: We shared some bittersweet news this weekend: Archbishop Bernard Hebda has announced that our current associate, Father Connor McGinnis, is being reassigned as the new full-time chaplain at Providence Academy in Plymouth beginning in July. We do expect to receive another associate.
"I'd like to express my immense gratitude to all of you for your kindness to me over these past two years," said Father McGinnis. "I brag about St. Michael often to my peers, and not without reason—this parish really is about as good as it gets for a new priest's first assignment. Please know of my thankfulness and prayers for you all as I wrap up my time here, knowing that whoever will be sent to replace me is going to be as well cared for during his time here as I was during mine. May God continue to bless you all!"
Father McGinnis will be here through the end of June. Please join us in praying that his new assignment bears great fruit in the lives of the students at Providence Academy.
