Generosity Shines for Friends of the Poor Walk, Respect Life Month

Two local organizations are feeling the love here in St. Michael this fall. First, the annual Friends of the Poor Walk last month attracted more walkers than ever (145, many of them new supporters and families) and raised more than $21,000 for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul—nearly twice last year’s total!

Since local sponsors fully covered the cost of the event and lunch, all of that money will support people in need, served by our local St. Vincent de Paul Conference and our sister conference in Elk River, which officially launched this month. Check out our sponsor list below and give them your support!

Then, earlier this month, our special Respect Life Sunday collection for Options for Women-Cornerstone raised more than $12,200. With only a week's notice, our parish stepped up in a big way to support life!
