Calendar Streamlines Room Requests

Our new online Parish Calendar makes it easy for parishioners to request rooms at the church, identify scheduling conflicts, and more!

Powered by eSpace, a robust scheduling application, the new calendar enables parishioners to view church events by the month, the day, or in a list format; filter events by category (Mass & Confession, Adult Formation, Youth Ministry, etc.); and submit a room request to the parish office by clicking the “Submit Room Request” button at the top right corner of the calendar.

The “Submit Room Request” button loads an intuitive online form including event dates, start and end times, set-up and tear-town times if needed, and equipment needed for the event. It also enables users to request specific rooms and warns them if there is a conflict for that that space at the requested time.

Parishioners can also request childcare or hospitality for their events, although these ministries are not available for every event. You are also able to request a Special Liturgical Celebration (Mass, Adoration, blessing during Mass, etc.) using an online form. Space requests will be approved or declined via email; requests for keys are still made directly to our parish business administrator once a space request is approved.

The new system will help staff manage space requests and scheduling conflicts, especially after our expanded facility opens and space requests become more numerous. Please begin using the “Submit Room Request” button on our Parish Calendar page the next time you need space at the church for your group or ministry!

ROOM REQUEST TIPS

• Bookmark our Parish Calendar page or find it under Church / News & Events / Parish Calendar.
• The Submit Room Request button is at the top right corner of the Parish Calendar page.
• If a space is selected and there is a conflict, a red conflict warning will appear. You can then choose a different room, different time, or different day.
• Classroom #9 is our Childcare room; only select this when childcare is needed. Please note: Requesting childcare is not a guarantee it will be available.

• Need a Special Liturgical Celebration (Mass, Holy Hour, blessing, or other event requiring clergy participation)? Select Request for a Liturgical Celebration under Services and complete the online form.
• Once you have submitted your request, you will receive an email letting you know your request has been submitted. You will receive another email when your request has been approved or declined.
