Parishioner Mike Engel to Be Ordained a Deacon December 4

On Saturday, December 4, at 10:00 AM, parishioner Mike Engel and six classmates will be ordained as permanent deacons for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis by Archbishop Bernard Hebda at the Cathedral of Saint Paul.

• Ordination Mass: Saturday, December 4, 10:00 AM-noon, at the Cathedral
• Reception and Celebration: Saturday, December 4, 2:00-6:00 PM, at the St. Albert Parish Center
• First Assisting Mass and Parish Reception: Sunday, December 5, 11:00 AM Mass and afterward, at St. Michael Catholic Church

This church has generated so many vocations to religious life and Holy Orders that it’s easy to forget that many parishes don’t. St. Michael has had three men ordained to priesthood in the past seven years—and Mike will be our second deacon since Deacon Mike Nevin was ordained in 2010. 

Please pray for Mike, Stacy, and the Engel family these final weeks before ordination, and let’s celebrate our parish’s newest vocation!
