Are we still adding more artwork to the church?

Yes! The iconographers plan to begin work in late October on a Resurrection icon above the statuary apse and a Pentecost icon above the choir apse. Their work will not prevent us from having Mass in the church and should be completed by Christmas. 

Additionally, the walls of both apses will receive the same gold treatment as the wall behind the tabernacle, giving the entire space a more finished look. The initial painting project was funded by an anonymous major gift, with the balance provided by parishioner donations. The additional icons and painting are funded by an estate gift from our former pastor, Father Leonard Siebenaler, and a few additional parishioner contributions.
