The big news this week is that the Archdiocese has asked us to welcome a third priest here at St. Michael! Father Michael Daly has been discerning religious priesthood in recent years; he is now returning to diocesan priesthood and plans to be with us as an associate for the next few years. Father Daly is a former member of the Companions of Christ who is originally from Nativity of the Lord parish in Saint Paul. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2016 with Father Joe Zabinski and will join us at all Masses the weekend of March 25-26. Please welcome him warmly when you see him!
We can expect Father McGinnis to complete at least two full years with us, as well. It is important to note, however, that, at this point, we do not expect to have three priests assigned here long term. So, for the time being, take advantage of more priests being able to hear confessions at St. Michael!
