“There is nothing in this world so valuable as spending several days peacefully occupied only with the great matters in life: God, the soul and eternity.” Venerable Bruno Lanteri
Led by Fr. Brian Park, St. Michael offers two Silent Retreats each year. This retreat is designed to help you enter into a quiet place of deep reflection and renewal. Along with a weekend of silence and extended periods of personal prayer and rest, the retreat also includes Mass, Confession, Eucharistic Adoration, and an opportunity for spiritual direction. Christ the King Retreat Center provides all meals along with private rooms and bathrooms for every retreatant.
Silent Retreat Weekend: April 11-13, 2025 (5:00 pm Friday - 2:00 pm Sunday)
Who: Open to anyone age 18 or older (post high school). You do not have to be Catholic or a parish member.
Cost: $400.00 per person (Payment is due in the parish office by Mar. 7, 2025). Don't let finances prevent you from attending the retreat - scholarships are available. Contact Bob Swift to request a scholarship: [email protected]
The benefits of a silent retreat include recharging your spiritual batteries, finding clarity for direction for your life, reestablishing good spiritual habits, purging unhealthy things, and entering into much needed rest.
